Team PA receives an award from CoreNet Global
CoreNet Global presents an Economic Development Leadership Award to Team PA Foundation President Rich Hudic and Carolyn Lengel of DCED.  The award is for the Business Retention and Expansion Program which began under the Team PA Foundation as the Business Calling Program.  Also pictured is award sponsor Jay Biggins of Stadtmauer Bailkin Biggins LLC.

Spanish wind-energy company Gamesa Corp. held the official grand opening of its newest plant in Cambria County near Ebensburg on Monday, June 12.

The Pennsylvania Young Professionals Leadership Committee held a strategic planning session on June 3, 2006 at Susquehanna University.

Shipbuilding Returns to Erie
After decades, shipbuilding is returning to Erie, Pa., with the launch of Erie Shipbuilding LLC (ESB). The company started operations in late 2005, and brings with it new jobs and new investment for northwest PA.

TPF Convening Key Decision-makers

QUICK NEWS ON PEOPLE & EVENTS OF INTEREST

Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG) has selected Team PA  Foundation Ambassador Gail Landis, C.P.M., to be their Director of  Business Development and Government Relations. 

Ambassador Maureen Shay, Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School (MASH) has accepted a new position within the school district.  She will be an elementary learning support teacher at Sheperdstown Elementary School.  Congratulations and best wishes Maureen!

It pays for students to network!  Gannett Fleming Ambassador Ron Drnevich attended the April 4 Summit with Maureen Shay and Lauren Heisey of MASH.  

Pennsylvania's Tomorrow Starts Today State Senator Roger Madigan recently held his 21st annual student government seminar for 17 high schools in his district.
