Foreign trade representatives meet with state officials at a Foundation-sponsored event to highlight the many economic opportunities for the state in foreign markets.

Team Pennsylvania Foundation utilizes its unique role as a liaison between its public and private partners to develop and deploy a variety of solutions to the challenges facing the economy and to ensure that Pennsylvania is competitive in growing, retaining, and attracting new business.

We’ve recently added capacity and introduced several new programs that will make Pennsylvania an even bigger economic player here in the United States and on the global stage.

Team PA, in cooperation with the Office of International Business Development, hired an International Initiatives Manager to oversee programs to further build upon Pennsylvania’s excellent track record in foreign trade and investment.

The first major project of this collaborative initiative is the Team PA-funded and Governor Corbett-led Trade Mission to Germany and France. Gov. Corbett will lead a delegation of Pennsylvania officials to those two countries to explore foreign trade and foreign investment opportunities between those two nations and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Team PA is also overseeing the Governor’s Manufacturing Advisory Council, a private-sector initiative designed to strengthen and remove any roadblocks impeding the ongoing success of manufacturing in Pennsylvania.
