Implementation Team – Governor’s Manufacturing Advisory Council
The Governor’s Manufacturing Advisory Council released its findings and recommendations to Governor Corbett on August 21, 2012. Implementation teams began working on September 6th.
Now that the Governor’s Manufacturing Advisory Council has released its report, work groups have been formed to implement and carry out this important work. Manufacturing leaders from throughout the commonwealth met in early September to begin this process, and received a detailed progress update in December. Council members met over a six-month period beginning in January to discuss ways to strengthen the industry to build an even stronger economy in Pennsylvania.

GMAC Announcement
Governor Corbett and senior cabinet officials joined manufacturing leaders around the state on August 21st to announce the findings and recommendations of the Governor’s Manufacturing Advisory Council.
The council was charged by Gov. Corbett to identify and prioritize top issues to sustain and advance manufacturing in the commonwealth.
