PPL EnergyPlus to provide energy supply to U.S. General Services Administration facilities in Pennsylvania

PPL EnergyPlus has been awarded a five-year contract to supply energy to U.S. General Services Administration facilities in Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania-based electric generation supplier will provide approximately 300 million kilowatt-hours of competitively priced energy to nearly 20 facilities throughout the state, including veterans’ hospitals and other sites run by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; federal correctional institutions; and other facilities. To put this volume in perspective, the average homeowner uses about 1,000 kilowatt-hours per month.
