Board Member Kenn Tuckey to Receive Prestigious Award

Team Pennsylvania board member Kenneth L. Tuckey of the Tuckey Companies will be honored as the recipient of the prestigious Exchange Club of Carlisle Molly Pitcher Award as Carlisle Area Citizen of the Year for 2016.

Presented every year since 1969, the Molly Pitcher Award honors individuals who have provided outstanding service to the community. The silver pitcher that symbolizes the award is named after Mary Ludwig Hays McCaully, who became famous as Molly Pitcher and who was a heroine in the Revolutionary War after bringing water to artillerymen under fire.

A 6:00 P.M. reception and 7:15 P.M. dinner will be held at the Dickinson College Holland Union Building on March 10, 2017. Anyone wishing to join with the Exchange Club in honoring Kenn may purchase tickets by calling Connie Tritt at the office of Wayne F. Shade at 243-0220 by March 1, 2017.
