Team Pennsylvania is pleased to announce that Ms. Kelly Kundratic has joined us as Manager of Agriculture Programs and Policy.

As part of Team Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) partnership, Ms. Kundratic will oversee strategic agriculture economic development initiatives. In her role, she will: manage the day-to-day operations of the Pennsylvania Agriculture Advisory Board; identify and facilitate new opportunities for economic growth that address needs and challenges of the industry (driven by the strategic recommendations from the Economic Impact Analysis); support the strategic planning efforts for PDA; and support industry-driven collaboration through public-private partnerships.

Ms. Kundratic recently graduated with her Master of Science in Agriculture, Food, Environment with a focus in Public Policy from Tufts University, Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. Ms. Kundratic also has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, major in Agriculture and Extension Education from West Virginia University.

Previously, Ms. Kundratic has worked at the Maryland Department of Agriculture in marketing and as a high school agriculture teacher in two rural high schools in Maryland. Though she grew up in Maryland, her passion for agriculture was cultivated in Wayne County, Pennsylvania where she spent summers on her grandfather’s dairy farm.

Ms. Kundratic is thrilled to join the team and support the growth of the agriculture industry in the Keystone state. In her final interview, she expressed to PDA Secretary Russell Redding and Team Pennsylvania President & CEO Ryan Unger, “I feel like my entire life has been leading towards this work.”
