2016 Rankings of Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania Revealed

Nearly 1,000 people gathered in Lancaster this evening to find out which companies were announced as Pennsylvania’s 2016 “Best Places to Work”. Edward Jones of West Chester and WebpageFX of Harrisburg topped the list for the large and small to medium-sized categories, respectively – for the second year in a row.

This year’s list represented 30,256 employees of 76 small to medium-sized companies and 24 large sized companies. Making this list is a prestigious honor and winners improve their visibility and appeal to jobseekers from around the globe by carrying a trusted stamp of approval as a “Best Places to Work in PA” company.

Seventeen years ago, Team Pennsylvania, the Department of Community and Economic Development and the Central Penn Business Journal partnered to bring the Best Places to Work program to Pennsylvania. Team Pennsylvania values the businesses that are making Pennsylvania a great place to live, learn and thrive:

DCED Secretary Dennis Davin was in attendance at the event and gave remarks:

Fulfilled employees lend themselves to happier households, which in turn contribute to stronger communities,” said DCED Secretary Dennis Davin. “I commend these companies’ outstanding commitment to their employees and to supporting the economic well-being of the commonwealth.”
