Team Pennsylvania works in public-private partnership to accelerate the commonwealth’s long-term economic future. Our work is focused on key program areas that represent high-growth economic opportunities for Pennsylvania: agriculture, digital equity, energy, and manufacturing.
Agriculture: Team Pennsylvania partners with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and industry leaders to advance Pennsylvania’s agriculture sector and grow the commonwealth’s presence in regional, national, and global marketplaces — ensuring this industry remains a vibrant part of our state for generations to come.
Digital Equity: Team Pennsylvania supports statewide efforts to build the information technology capacity of individuals and communities through digital skills, devices and connectivity. Promoting digital equity is of critical importance for Pennsylvania to advance the commonwealth’s economic competitiveness and residents’ economic prosperity.
Energy: Pennsylvania is the second-largest producer of energy in the United States, and the commonwealth is positioned to become a leader in low-carbon energy technologies – especially in carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) and in hydrogen. Team Pennsylvania Foundation is engaged in several initiatives to chart a path forward for decarbonizing Pennsylvania’s economy and accelerating its economic growth.
Manufacturing: Manufacturing is the commonwealth’s largest economic sector; it is a source of technological innovation, great career opportunities, and the economic foundation of many smaller communities. Team Pennsylvania partners with the Pennsylvania Manufacturing Advisory Council to support resilience, growth and innovation in this critical sector.
