Agriculture & Robotics Summit
Team PA’s Agriculture Policy Director Kelly Kundratic recently participated in the Agriculture & Robotics Summit in Pittsburgh, which brought together agriculture leaders and robotics industry professionals with the primary goal of solving agriculture business and operational challenges using robotics and AI-based solutions.
A wide spectrum of autonomous innovations being developed at Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Institute were presented, with the promise of widespread impact on agriculture, solving some of the complex challenges facing Pennsylvania’s farmers.
The summit convened a diverse group of agriculture and robotics experts for highly engaging workshop sessions, with the aim of defining the challenges these technologies could potentially solve. The workshops were interspersed with presentations from innovative start-ups developing and enhancing agriculture technologies.
Team PA is excited to further engage with the tech community to explore opportunities for statewide connections between agriculture and technology.
