Team Pennsylvania commissioned the AI & Robotics Value Chain Analysis to accelerate the growth of AI, robotics, and manufacturing across the commonwealth. Conducted by BEAM Collaborative in partnership with U3 Advisors, this study delivers the first statewide evaluation of Pennsylvania’s full AI and robotics value chain.

The analysis focuses on:

Mapping firms across the value chain including Direct Materials, Direct Services, Software and Integration, and Professional or Indirect Services.
Integrating quantitative supplier data with insights from industry, academic, and community stakeholders to identify strengths, gaps, and bottlenecks.
Highlighting near-term opportunities and policy pathways that can better connect research, production, and adoption to support economic growth across Pennsylvania communities.

Together, these findings provide a strong foundation for strategic investment and cross-sector collaboration that can position the commonwealth as a leader in AI and robotics.
